My journey with Canadian immigration law began in 2018, when I immigrated to Canada from India with my family. Navigating the complexities of the permanent residence process firsthand inspired me to pursue a career in immigration consulting and ultimately become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB).

I hold a Master’s degree in English Literature and Cultural Studies from Panjab University. After settling in Edmonton, Alberta, I worked as an ESL instructor and also tutored children privately. These experiences deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by newcomers and temporary residents, particularly in navigating language barriers and adapting to a new cultural environment.

Motivated by these experiences, I enrolled in the Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law program at Queen’s University in 2023. Upon completing the program and passing the licensing examination, I became a licensed RCIC-IRB and established Maiva Immigration Services Inc. in Edmonton.

At Maiva Immigration Services Inc., I am committed to offering personalized, professional guidance to individuals and families navigating the Canadian immigration system. My practice covers a wide range of immigration services such as: Study Permits, Post Graduate Work Permit, Super Visa, Visitor Visa, Visitor Record, Express Entry Programs, Electronic Travel Authorization, Family and Spousal Sponsorship and Canadian Citizenship.
