Mary is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (IRB-IRB) and owner of Ubuntu Immigration and Citizenship Consulting Inc., based on the traditional, unceded territories of the Anishinaabe and Métis peoples, known as Bawaating (Sault Ste. Marie). She completed her Immigration and Citizenship Law studies at Queen’s University in Kingston and is a Registered Social Worker in Ontario.

Mary possesses over seven years of international experience spanning Nigeria, Germany, and Canada. She focuses on supporting immigrants and members of equity-deserving groups across individual, community, and municipal levels. Having navigated the Canadian immigration system firsthand, from an international student to a Canadian citizen, Mary has cultivated a unique understanding of the complexities involved. Her personal experience has fueled her passion for social work and immigration consulting, driving her commitment to empowering fellow immigrants and facilitating their seamless integration into Canadian society.

Mary is an advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion, recognizing the importance of immigration in promoting diversity and multiculturalism. She is a licensed consultant with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC). Outside work, she enjoys spending time with family and is passionate about supporting equity-deserving groups.
