The Canadian Express Entry is an online system that manages three immigration pathways: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). 

 

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria must complete and submit an online profile to the Express Entry Pool.

 

·       Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP): This program is specifically for workers with eligible foreign or Canadian work experience interested in becoming permanent Canadian residents. Skilled workers are selected based on work experience, education, language level and other factors.

 

·       Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP): This program targets skilled trade workers interested in becoming permanent residents. These workers require specialized knowledge and relevant hands-on experience and may require an apprenticeship in their chosen trade. Skilled trades workers are eligible to work in construction, transportation, agriculture and some other industries.

 

·       Canadian Experience Class (CEC): This program is for skilled workers with eligible Canadian work experience.

 

 

In addition, candidates eligible for any of these immigration programs above can apply for the Provincial Nominee Program through Express Entry. Candidates who are nominated get extra points, which helps them to get an invitation to apply (ITA) quickly.
