Like any other immigration program in Canada, to be eligible for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) depending on the stream you are applying for, you must meet at least the following requirements, including work experience, education, language proficiency, and job offer.
Work experience
You need to have at least one year of full-time paid work experience. The wage needs to be higher than the median wage for your occupation in Ontario.
Education
You need to have at least a Canadian bachelor's degree (or higher) or if the degree is earned outside Canada, you will need to have your foreign degree assessed by an accredited education credential institute and needs to be valid.
Language proficiency
You will need to have a minimum CLB level of 7 in English (IELTS or CELPIP) or French
Job offer
You will need to have a job offer that is full-time and permanent in Ontario from an employer in an eligible occupation from a selected NOC’s for In-demand skills stream. It need to be in a skilled occupation with NOC TEER 1, 2, 3
Additional requirements
You need to have a valid Express Entry profile when applying OINP.
You need to have funds to support yourself and your partner.
The OINP program is subject to change, and many categories open and close without warning.
