Two intake systems are used by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) to handle applications. You must first register in the Express Entry or Expression of Interest systems to inform the OINP that you would like to be invited to apply for the program. You may be eligible for nine streams offered by the OINP.
If you've been offered a job in Ontario
You can apply to the following streams if you have a job offer in Ontario.
Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream
If you are a foreign skilled worker with a job offer in Ontario or the Physician, apply for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. If you are a doctor or a skilled foreign worker with a job offer in Ontario, apply for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.
Employer Job Offer: International Student stream
Apply for the Employer Job Offer: International Student stream if you recently graduated and have a job offer in Ontario.
Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream
If you are a foreign worker in an in-demand occupation with a job offer in Ontario, apply for the Employer Job Offer: In Demand Skills stream.
If you have a Masters or PhD degree from an Ontario university
Masters graduates stream
If you have a master's degree from an Ontario university, apply to the Masters Graduate stream.
PhD graduates stream
If you have a PhD from a university in Ontario, apply to the PhD Graduate stream.
Ontario’s Express Entry Streams
The Express Entry System of the federal government is used by the following streams. You need to obtain an Ontario notification of interest and have an Express Entry profile in order to be eligible.
Human Capital Priorities stream
If you possess the necessary training, education, and language skills, apply for the Human Capital Priorities stream.
Skilled Trades stream
If you are a foreign worker who has worked in a qualifying skilled trade in Ontario, you may apply for the Skilled Trades stream.
French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream
If you are a French-speaking international worker with high English language skills, apply for the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.
