If Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) refuses your application to come to Canada, you can apply again at any time, unless your decision letter says you can’t. However, you should only apply again if you can include information that you didn’t include before or if your situation has changed or improved than before. For example, you were refused due to insufficient funds and now if you have more money in your bank account which may be sufficient to cover the cost of your visit to Canada.

You may wish to ask about when the decision letter might say that you cannot reapply. The most likely scenario will be, where the officer determines that the application was submitted with fraudulent means or was misrepresented. In such case the officer may issue a decision letter mentioning the applicant is found inadmissible for misrepresentation (under A40) which will make the applicant banned for next 05 years.
