2. Use the “Find an Immigration Consultant” Tool
- On the homepage, click “Public Register” or go directly to:

3. Enter Consultant Details
You can search using any of the following:
- Full name of the consultant
- RCIC number (begins with R######)
- Company name
4. Check the Consultant’s Status
Once you find the name:
- Look for a status like "Active – Good Standing"
- Ensure they are authorized for the specific services (e.g., IRB representation if needed)
- View contact info and whether they have any disciplinary history
Warning Signs of Unauthorized Consultants
- They cannot show an RCIC number or refuse to give their full name.
- Their name is not listed on the CICC register.
- They use terms like “immigration agent” or “immigration advisor” without CICC backing.
- They make guarantees of visa approval (no one can legally do that).
