Applying for Canadian Permanent Residence through Express Entry involves several costs. Below is a breakdown of the key fees you should plan for before starting your application.

1. Government Processing Fees

Once you receive your Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR), you will need to pay the following fees:

  • Primary Applicant: $850
  • Spouse or Common-Law Partner: $850
  • Dependent Child: $230 per child

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)

  • Principal Applicant: $515
  • Spouse or Common-Law Partner: $515
  • Exemptions:
    • Dependent children
    • Children to be adopted
    • Orphaned relatives (siblings, nieces, nephews, grandchildren)
    • Protected Persons & Convention Refugees

Biometrics Fee

  • Applicants aged 14-79: $85 per person
