A super visa is a special type of multiple entry visitor visa specifically designed for the parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

The Main advantage of Super Visa for Parents and Grandparents is that eligible parents and grandparents can visit family in Canada for 5 years at a time as compared to 6 months in Visitor visa. This means parents and Grandparents can stay in Canada for 5 years at a stretch. And If they wish to stay longer, they can apply for an extension.

§  proof of a health insurance policy which provide a minimum of $100,000 of emergency coverage
